My Therapy : Hello everyone out there! Some may think this is strange or a little weird, however I am looking at this as my therapy.
It all sorta started on Sunday Jan. 10th, my family and I were sitting around our dinner table discussing where we wanted to go on vacation this summer and what we were going to do during Spring Break. Hooray!! Our two sons, needless to say had plenty of input. Would it be a couple of small trips or a Disney Cruise, a trip to Washington DC? Ohhh the suspense, back and forth trying to decide...and the trip is Washington DC! Yeah! (this is the one I wanted) now that the decision was made my husband, Dave looked over to me and said "you want be walking around town by yourself like you did in Charleston."
Monday Jan.12th, Good day at work, successful Scout meeting that night.
Tuesday Jan 13th, Good day at work, did some research on where to go first in Washington DC. Oh the photos I would take! I had to get a schedule together and soon!
Wednesday, Jan. 14th, Cell phone rings @ 5:45 am-I reach over to get it. I'm thinking, odd it ringing this early, must be the my friend Kathy, the teacher I work with. Hello (i say) Hey honey its me, (my husband Dave) I've had an accident-I fell out of the back of the trailer (he drives a 18-wheeler, delivers food to various locations) I can't move, nor feel my legs. They are taking me to Indian Path Medical. A thousand things ran through my mind at that moment...what do I do with the boys? How much do I tell them? Not knowing much, what can I tell them? How bad is he hurt? All of this and more, oh yes, I come back to reality and he is still on the line, Yes Dave I heard you, I will meet you there. I hang up and I'm thinking, I'm not sure how I will meet you but I will somehow get it worked out! So this is "The Journey" that my family is only just started.......
I am going to post photos as time allows me to do so! Yes I did take photos just about every step so far....
